Welcome to Creative Journeys

The healing powers of the expressive arts

Welcome to my website.  Your interest in learning more about the healing powers of the Expressive Arts is very exciting.  Through my own personal experience, and witnessing the healing of hundreds of clients, I know this is a powerful form of emotional and physical healing.

The exercises in Creative Journeys: The Healing Powers of the Expressive Arts, present new ways to heal old emotional wounds.  Through a variety of activities including writing, visual art, meditation, movement, and music, you will learn how to tap into the right, emotional side of your brain where the healing begins.  This book will take you on a personal journey of unearthing and releasing old dysfunctional patterns while learning new healthier ones. Awareness is the first step. Until there is awareness change cannot happen.  It is in the “process” not the “product” of the expressive art activities where this new understanding—these “ah ha”, healing thoughts—will occur.

It is my wish that everyone will gain wisdom from this book and incorporate these time-tested healing practices into their daily lives.  Enjoy the journey.

Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease

*Please note that the Expressive Arts should not be considered a substitution for professional medical care, rather an avenue to access one’s own inherent healing abilities.

Testimonials

Linda – Orlando, FL – ❝I have seen physical benefits! I am encouraged and committed to continue many of the things I have begun.❞

Dale – Orlando, FL What a blessing this course has been… creatively, spiritually and physically. Plus it has been an opportunity to make some new friends who understand what it is like to be dealing with serious illness.

Wilma – Sedona, AZ  Author of Iron Grip and Braving House Calls I had not realized how much stress-relief making a visible record can offer. Recently I have begun writing each morning simple, random thoughts about whatever comes to mind. Somehow the effort of putting them “out there” where I can look at them, gives me a sense of relief and readiness to begin the day.

Frank – Prescott, AZ ❝This class was much more than I imagined it would be.❞
